Using a standard training system called "periodization", the programs are divided into four three-week cycles that get progressively more challenging. For each component of the program, every week has at least one "long" day and two or more "easy" days. There are five Bible units. The Complete Package includes all five Bible Units with "self design" exercise programs. The Marathon Package includes three Bible Units (your choice) with a running program that helps a person capable of completing a 6-mile run prepare to run a marathon. The Marathon Package should begin 36 weeks before the goal marathon.
